Why I built
ARTNER.
I trained first as an Internal Medicine specialist, not an aesthetic surgeon. That order matters. Years of treating the metabolic and cardiovascular side of the body taught me that liposuction is, before anything else, a medical procedure — one with real implications beneath the surface, not just a cosmetic decision.
My work is to refine it with precision — without ever forcing it.
Since the ARTNER name began in 2022, that conviction has shaped every decision — and our Cheongdam clinic is where that work lives today. I wanted a clinic that screens patients with the rigor of internal medicine, that recommends only the technique a body actually needs, and that refuses the over-resection trend producing dramatic results that age poorly.
It also shaped our 3NO promise — no general anesthesia, no compression garment, one case a day. I perform every procedure myself, never delegated, with a single patient's full attention for the day. Roughly two in three of our patients travel from abroad, and they trust us for one reason: we tell them honestly what we think, recommend only what they need, and stay with them long after they have left Seoul.

Every patient receives comprehensive Internal Medicine screening — blood work, cardiovascular and metabolic assessment. We sometimes decline candidates whose conditions warrant treatment first. That is not gatekeeping; it is responsible care.

We recommend the technique that fits your case — not the highest-margin option. For most patients, a refined standard approach delivers excellent results without costly add-ons. Technique should match anatomy, not marketing.
volume
We prioritize natural smoothness and long-term outcome over maximum reduction. Larger cases are staged rather than pushed beyond safe limits. Aggressive over-resection ages poorly; our conservative approach holds up over decades.

Liposuction has cardiovascular, metabolic and endocrine implications — especially for international patients with undisclosed conditions, for larger-volume cases, and for patients over 50 where thorough screening becomes critical for safety.
Dr. Pyeon's training enables comprehensive pre-operative screening, recognition of conditions affecting candidacy (thyroid disease, diabetes, hypertension), and management of complications during longer procedures. Many purely cosmetic clinics skip this. ARTNER does not.
