Why dieting does not fix a pocket
Weight loss shrinks fat cells roughly evenly across the body, so an area with a high density of cells shrinks a little while everywhere else shrinks the same amount. The pocket is still disproportionate at the end — often more visible, because the surrounding areas got smaller.
