Why general anesthesia is never used in Cheongdam
Deep anesthesia and intubation account for a large share of the serious risk in liposuction. Removing them removes that share — no breathing tube, no deep sedation, no airway management, and no anesthesia recovery period afterwards.

What fully awake actually feels like

What screening happens before either route
Blood work, ECG, physical examination and an internal-medicine review by Dr. Pyeon — cardiovascular, metabolic and thyroid. Lidocaine sensitivity is screened for specifically, since tumescent technique depends on it.
