What dieting actually does to a fat cell

It empties it. The cell shrinks but remains, ready to refill. That is why weight regain is so efficient, and why the shape you return to after regaining is usually the shape you had before.

It also happens everywhere at once, in the order your genetics dictate. Some people lose from the face and chest first and the thighs last; others the reverse. No exercise targets a specific deposit — spot reduction does not exist, and abdominal exercises build the muscle underneath rather than removing the layer above it.

What liposuction does instead in Cheongdam
