What is still there at six months — the real irregularities
Three things do not resolve with time, because they are not swelling.
Over-resection. Too much fat taken from a spot leaves a dent or a stuck-down area where skin adheres to muscle. Common when a surgeon chased "maximum" or treated a thin area aggressively.
Under-resection. A bulge left where fat remains — often at the edges of the treated area, producing a step between treated and untreated zones.
Asymmetry. Different volumes removed from the two sides, or pre-existing asymmetry not planned for.
